Creating New Work
Margi is interested in creating new work for different kinds of dancers and skill levels. The essential element is customizing her work for each individual or group of artists. Collaboration, a key element during the creative process, develops from shared writing exercises, research about a particular topic and the development of movement vocabulary generated by the dancers in the room.
Restaging Works
The Dance COLEctive has supported the creation of more than 30 original dance pieces by Margi Cole. These works can be restaged and customized for dancers with varying degrees of skill and experience. Many of these works are available on video by request. Fees vary based on length.
